Midway station

From the middle station, take the route through the forest down to Chalet Les Pâquiers, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the village of Charmey and the valley. Climb back up towards Chalet de La Chéta. Shortly after leaving the forest, turn left to head for Chalet des Vieilles Ciernes

From the path, you can admire the Dents Vertes overlooking the Charmey ski area. Then reach the last chalet on the route, Gros Ganet. Cross the ski slope and follow the itinerary. In this last section, the trail is undulating. Finally, follow the piste back to the intermediate station.

• This loop is not particularly difficult
• This trail is ideal for people who want to snowshoe without necessarily wanting to hike high mountain trails, nor too far from civilization
• A magnificent view of the Dents-Vertes will accompany you throughout the hike
